People ask why we don't just euthanize her.

Hershey is paralyzed. She can't run, guard, or perform tricks. Society thinks that makes her worthless.

Society is wrong. Hershey gives exactly what every dog gives: unconditional love.

She survived abuse, abandonment, two surgeries, and eighteen months of therapy. She didn't walk again. But she's here.

NUFF exists to normalize special-needs dogs. They only need different adjustments. Every dog deserves that same standard.

  • NUFF was founded by Melissa and Josiane, two dog lovers on a mission: to make dogs’ lives better with the best treats we can make, and to normalize special-needs pets by sharing Hershey’s story.

  • Melissa

    Co-founder & Public Relations: Had the idea for NUFF and is the face you see in our videos. Comes up with content ideas, connects with our community and partner stores. She also prepares your orders.

  • Josiane

    Co-founder & Head of Operations: Sets NUFF’s goals and strategy. Runs the business, from kitchen production, sourcing, lab testing, labels, packaging to website and marketing.
